UPDATE: Man reported missing in the Murfreesboro area has been LOCATED

UPDATE: He has been safely located.

UPDATE: A man who was reported as missing in Rutherford County was later found in Sumner County. MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers told WGNS NEWS, "Juan Kapamas was located by Gallatin Police. He is safe." Previous to being located, police reported the 86-year-old had last been seen at 11:30 Wednesday morning at Kroger on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro (June 22, 2022).

Previous Information: Kapamas was driving a 1996 Nissan Altima. The gold in color 4-door sedan had a Tennessee license plate that read “778BDBN,” surrounded by a license plate bracket that had the word “Greece” on it. Furthermore, the vehicle's bumper had noticeably peeling paint.

According to police, the missing senior citizen was previously diagnosed with Dementia. If you have seen Juan Kapamas or know where he can be located, please contact MPD Detective David Miller at 629-201-5662.
