(MURFREESBORO)  A two vehicle crash occured during Wednesday (6/1/2022) morning drive-time on the Thompson Lane overpass that crosses the railroad tracks and Nashviille Highway. One person was taken to the ER at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. 

Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers told NewsRadio WGNS, "Preliminary investigation shows one driver pulled out in front of the other. One person was injured and is in stable condition at the hospital."

A gray Ford Escape was initially hit in the passenger side read, while the black BMW SUV received heavy damage after rolling. 

The city's FACT (Fatal Accident Crash Team) was gathering evidence for much of the morning hours, and the road was re-opened to traffic around 10:30AM.
