Spring Fling will be back in Rutherford County this May. The Olympic-style event will feature the state's top high school athletes and it is scheduled to take place May 24th - 27th (2022).

Spring Fling is The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association’s (TSSAA) unique spring sports championship event, where state championships are decided in seven different sports over a four-day period.

The event is expected to draw 5,000 student athletes and 25,000 fans with an economic impact of $3.5 million.

Spring Fling 2022 - Continued...

While the TSSAA Spring Fling events were canceled in 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19, they did take place in 2021.

The championships for the seven sports that comprise Spring Fling will be conducted at over 12 different venues in Rutherford County.

Spring Fling is hosted by the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
