The man told police that he was leaving the area of Chelsea Place Apartments and attempting to merge into another lane. The person he merged in front of supposedly sped up in an attempt to block the merge from happening. The man trying to merge then flipped off the other motorist, which is when things really heated up.

According to the Beechgrove resident, the other driver sped up and pulled beside him, pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him.

The victim gave police the tag information from the other vehicle, which returned to a black Hyundai Sonata, but police were not able to make contact with the driver of the sedan.

No charges have been filed.
