The Tennessee State Veterinarian recently confirmed that the Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus Type 2 was detected in two domesticated rabbits in one East Tennessee location.

Murfreesboro veterinarian Dr. Amy Shirley of Family Pet Health explains that although this disease is not new, it has never before been seen in Tennessee:
