Two students from Oakland High School received $1,000 SAE grants and were among 11 students from Tennessee to receive the grants. Alvin Brandon, senior, and Hannah Harrell, junior, received grants from RaboAgrifinance and CHS, respectively. CHS is a global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States.

Alvin Brandon and Hannah Harrell are both members of the Oakland FFA Chapter. Their applications were selected from among 1,086 applications nationwide.
