Oakland Wins, Oakland Wins--43 to 26!   

For the first time in TSSAA history, two defending state champions battled each other in the Blue Cross Bowl in Class 6A. Oakland was defending Class 6A champion while Summit won the 5A title last year. And yes, Oakland crushed Spring Hill's Summitt High School Spartans 43-26. 

Not only did Oakland win, this was their second straight state championship. Yes, they are now the State Champs for 1984, 1998, 2008, 2018, 2020 and now 2021.
