(MURFREESBORO) Around 1:15 Saturday afternoon (11/27/2021), Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue was called to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and South Church Street (Highway 231-South, Shelbyville Highway).

The accident involved two compact cars and a full-size pickup truck. Engine #10 was the first on-the-scene and found a Nissan car was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly extingsuished the blaze before it spread to the pickup and the other car, which were each just a few feet away.
