In a battle of undefeated teams, Riverdale travels to Smyrna and comes away with the 17-3 win.
The Bulldog's lone score came early in the first quarter after a Riverdale special teams miscue giving Smyrna a short field for a Trace Petrilli 27-yard field goal:
It stayed 3-0 until just before the half when Warrior quarterback Jameson Holcomb found Seed Coleman with 1:14 to play in the half:
The two would hook up again midway through the third quarter to put the Warriors up 14-3. They'd add a 30-yard Khalil Arman field goal early in the fourth for the final score.
Smyrna had less than 100-yards total offense for the game. Running back Arian Carter was held to 38-yards on 12-carries. Riverdale running back Marcus Lloyd had 26-carries for 126-yards. Holcomb was 11-of-21 passing for 139-yards and two touchdowns.
The Bulldogs play at region foe Cane Ridge next Friday while Riverdale hosts Siegel on Thursday night.
