UPDATE: Murfreesboro Police are still searching for the man who stole $55,000 worth of sunglasses and more from a local business, but authorities don't know where the man is today.

Detectives need assistance from the public in identifying the individual who entered Bella Optical at 836 N. Thompson Lane, and allegedly stole high-end sunglasses and other items on May 8th, 9th and 10th.

The unknown culprit reportedly stole approximately $55,000.00 worth of items during the 3-day period.

Evidently, the business was closed at the time of the thefts.
