You can expect two rounds of severe weather today (May 4, 2021) in Rutherford County, along with surrounding communities, according to the National Weather Service.
The first bout of weather issues will occur throughout the morning continuing through mid-morning. During the morning hours, the National Weather Service warns of severe thunderstorms and the risk of high winds in excess of 40mph.
