Every year, the Junior League of Murfreesboro highlights a different issue that impacts the community through their Little Black Dress Initiative, which is a week-long campaign geared at educating the public on the chosen topic.

During this year’s campaign, Junior League members are asked to wear a black dress our outfit for five consecutive days, in hopes of igniting conversation about the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) that serves Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
The local attorney sits on the Child Advocacy Center Board of Directors.
This year’s Little Black Dress Initiative will raise awareness in the community about the devastating impact of child sexual abuse and highlight the help that the Child Advocacy Center can provide to not only childhood victims, but also their families.
The Junior League of Murfreesboro's Little Black Dress initiative will be from April 19th through April 23rd.
