Rutherford County emergency workers tackled the problems dealing with the AT&T outages as fast as possible and within a matter of hours, had a make-shift 9-1-1 system up and running.
On Friday, January 1, 2021 the City of Murfreesboro released the following statement through the Murfreesboro Police Department, "All Murfreesboro Communications Center’s 9-1-1 and non-emergency lines are once again functioning properly. For emergencies, dial 9-1-1, and 615-893-1311 for any on-emergency related calls."
