Danielle Elaine McDougal of Smyrna had been reported missing, but Murfreesbiro Police thank the public for their assistance and say the 38-year old woman has been found and is safe. 

She was reported missing by Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital on December 5, 2020.  McDougal was originally transported to the hospital after making suicidal statements, according to MPD.   Saint Thomas Rutherford staff advised that she walked out of the emergency room prior to her evaluation.  Her address is listed in Smyrna, but officers were not able to make contact with her at the residence.  Prior to police contact, she was staying at the Select Inn on S. Church Street in Murfreesboro.  She was also entered into NCIC as missing.  

Again, the missing 38-year old Smyrna woman, Danielle Elaine McDougal, has been found and she is safe.
