Riverdale's defense made the second half difficult on visiting Siegel, taking a 28-0 victory on homecoming.
A pair of turnovers in the first quarter by the Warriors left the game scoreless until 52-seconds left in the first half when quarterback Kade Hewitt found the endzone to put them up 7-0 at the break.
Hewitt got his second rushing touchdown of the night with 9:13 left in the third quarter to put Riverdale up 14-0:
Less than five-minutes later, Hewitt found Marcus Lloyd through the air:
Riverdale would add another touchdown to start the fourth quarter on a 48-yard run by C.J. Johnson for the final 28-0.
Hewitt had seven carries for 47-yards and two TD's and was 7-of-12 passing for 64 yards and a touchdown.
The Warriors defensively held Siegel to just 16-yards offensively in the second half. They were led by Kendall Martin's 83-yards rushing on 19-carries.
With fall break upon us, both teams have a bye week. Riverdale will host Oakland while Siegel travels to Cookeville October 16th.
