(MURFREESBORO) COVID-19 is negatively impacting individuals, businesses and the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring. At 7:00 o’clock Sunday evening, August 30, 2020, the museum will offer virtual trivia.
Discovery Center Vice President of Philanthropy Lindsey Jennings said, “As we find ourselves at a time when our local children’s museum faces financial challenges due to closures, we call on our friend for a night of competition in the comfort of their own home.”
She explained, “While our staff continues to provide unique and playful experiences for families at home through many digital platforms, our beloved regional children’s museum relies heavily on admission revenue and the generosity of our community to sustain us. We are proud to continue to serve families across Middle Tennessee at this difficult time, but our closures have been detrimental to the well-being of our institution.
Jennings encouraged sponsorships of "Doctors vs. Doctorates" Trivia at the Discovery Center has supported children and their families for more than thirty years, and now more than ever your support of our important work means so much. Thank you, stay well and keep on playing and learning!
