Heinz Kokemuelller (coke-e-muller) started volunteering at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center here in Murfreesboro back in 2001. Since then, this Korean War veteran with the Army has given almost 6,000 volunteer hours of love at the local VA hospital. He drives the shuttle around the campus and gives rides to veterans and families. Some describe Heinz' smile and words of encouragement as bright rays of sunshine on a cloudy day.
