Fri., Sat., Sun. (Nov. 20, 21, 22, 2026) 10AM - 5PM The 2026 Art Studio Tour in the Murfreesboro area remains one of Middle Tennessee's most popular self-guided arts events. The free community tour is held the weekend before Thanksgiving and allows visitors to step inside working studios and meet the artists who create the region's handcrafted treasures. Established in the mid-1990s by members of the Stones River Crafts Association, the tour showcases a variety of artistic disciplines including pottery, woodworking, painting, jewelry, glass, fiber arts, mixed media, and sculpture. Rather than viewing artwork in a gallery setting, visitors get to see where the work is actually created and often watch demonstrations by the artists themselves.
