Sat. (Nov. 7, 2026) 11AM - 1PM Linebaugh Public Library (105 W. Vine St., downtown Murfreesboro) invites the public to a LOCAL AUTHOR BOOK SIGNING featuring Valerie Hamill who will be selling and signing copies of her book, "Here’s to the Silly Ones". Valerie Hamill beautifully illustrates Seth Standley’s ode to those who can’t sit still, hate being bored and are industriously energetic. Valerie Hamill loves to draw anything that involves a pencil line. She has illustrated for Yolimwon Publishing (Korea), Paseka Publishing (Czech Republic), Loyola University Press, Chicago Magazine, and True South Puzzle Company. She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband in a very old (and needy) house with two very large (and messy) magnolia trees. Her secret obsession is Herodotus. Hamill will accept Venmo and Paypal as payment on the day of the signing.
