William J. Todd, Jr, age 96, passed away at The Alvin C. York Medical Center on July 7, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and retired Barber at Ideal Barber Shop. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William Jennings Todd, Sr and Everett Dean Hargrove Todd; wife, Cleo Margaret Todd; and and sisters, Alene Todd, Hazel Ford, Thelma Reed, Virginia Gambill and Helen Welcher. He is survived by son, Charles (Rita) Eaton; grandchildren, Tammy (Mark) Eaton Hall, Daniel Eaton; great-great grandchildren, Jessie Eaton, Landon (Catilyn) Eaton; and great-great granddaughter arriving in August.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM until time of chapel service at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 13, 2026 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Charles Eaton and Randy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
