Susan Haynes age 74, of the Halls Mill Community of Bedford County, TN passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 surrounded by her family. Susan was born July 2, 1951 to Harold Craddock Coop and Lois Mariamm Loken Coop. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Travis Haynes, a granddaughter Karah Osborne, and brothers Roger and Johnny Coop. Susan was a member of the Church of Christ.
Susan was a caring individual. She spent most of her life serving in the medical field. She worked for Maury Regional and Jackson Regional. She later retired from Maury Regional but continued to serve by delivering meals to families and visiting. Susan never met a stranger wherever she went and was always greeting you with a smile. Most of all, her smile and huge loving heart will be what she is remembered by for many generations to come.
Susan is survived by her husband of 24 years, Chris Haynes of the Halls Mill Community of Bedford County, TN; children, Jessie Alexander of Humboldt, TN, Julie (Vince) Osborne of Humboldt, TN, and Shannon (BJ) McCurry of Murfreesboro, TN; 4 grandchildren, Sydney, Trent, Katie, and Gavin; sisters, Nancy Coop of MO and Donna (Glen) Roberts of Jackson, TN; her fur baby Australian Shepherds, Blue, Sam, and Bear.
Visitation with the Haynes Family will be Monday, June 22, 2026, at 4PM until 6PM. A Memorial service will take place at 6PM from Lawrence Funeral Home.
