Rutherford County’s Kim Salyer Honored as Program Facilitator of the Year

Franklin, TN - Rutherford County Correctional Work Center Program Coordinator Kim Salyer has been recognized as Program Facilitator of the Year at the Statewide Summit on Correctional Programming, hosted by the Tennessee Corrections Institute at the Drury Plaza in Franklin. The award celebrates her professionalism, dedication, and commitment to the reentry community, where she has consistently demonstrated compassion and innovation in her work.

Superintendent William C. Cope, CJM, praised Salyer’s achievement, emphasizing the impact she has made on both the programs and the individuals who participate in them. “This honor is a testament to Kim’s dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to the rehabilitation and growth of the men and women we serve,” Cope said. “Her innovative approach and genuine compassion have made a lasting impact not only on our programs but also on the lives of those who participate in them.
