Smyrna Police Release Photo, Seek Help Identifying Man in Hobby Lobby Case

SMYRNA, Tenn. – The Smyrna Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to an incident that occurred at the Hobby Lobby on August 22, 2025.

According to police, the man is sought in connection with inappropriate behavior reported at the store, which is located near the intersection of Old Nashville Highway and Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna.

Surveillance footage captured the individual wearing a white or light-colored sleeveless shirt, a dark ballcap, sunglasses, dark pants, white socks, and white tennis shoes. A photo of the man has been circulated on the Smyrna Police Department’s social media channels as part of the ongoing investigation.

Detective Rebekah Ronin is leading the case. Anyone with information that may help identify the suspect is urged to contact her directly at 615-459-6644 or by email at Rebekah.Ronin@townofsmyrna.org. Authorities encourage residents to share the information to help locate the individual.
