Armed Robbery Investigation in Murfreesboro Continues

Police say the hold-up occurred during the 3 o’clock hour on Tuesday afternoon (4/1/2025). Witnesses report they saw the suspect flee the store and run towards the Grove Apartment complex near the intersection of Journey Dr. and Halls Hill.

Directly after the incident, Murfreesboro authorities teamed up with MTSU’s K-9 unit to search the area for the suspect. However, the search did not yield any positive leads, and the man is still on the run.

According to police, the robber was dressed in all black, wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and gloves. He had brightly colored red hair and a short beard.

Residents in the area are urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the suspect to Murfreesboro Police at (615) 893-1311. Authorities continue to investigate and are working to ensure public safety.
