WARREN COUNTY, TN - The Warren County Sheriff’s Office reported on Friday that deputies were dispatched to a location in Rock Island following a reported violent incident involving two women. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Jennifer Campos suffering from a laceration to her throat and Brittany Austin with a laceration to her shoulder.

Earlier that day, Campos and Austin had driven to Knoxville, where they reportedly provided a ride to a man identified as Bobby Graves. After returning to Warren County, an altercation ensued, resulting in injuries to both women. Following the incident, 41-year-old Graves left the scene but was quickly located by authorities in neighboring White County. Before he could be apprehended, Graves allegedly inflicted a laceration to his own throat.

Both Graves and Campos were airlifted to Erlanger Hospital for further treatment. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, with authorities indicating that drugs may have played a role in the events leading up to the altercation. Despite the severity of the injuries, both victims were responsive and able to provide statements to law enforcement at the scene.

Investigators believe they have identified everyone involved in the incident, and no further searches are currently underway.

In the early hours of February 22, after receiving medical care for his throat, Bobby Graves was apprehended. He was charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder. As of Monday morning (02/24/25), he remains in custody at the Warren County Jail, where bond stands at $2-million. According to the Tennessee Department of Corrections at the time of his arrest, Graves was under active supervised parole through the Knoxville Probation and Parole office, with his current parole set to conclude in less than eight months. This parole status is linked to a previous felony conviction in Warren County for a failure to appear in court.

The investigation into the incident continues, and authorities are working to gather additional information.
