From traditional books to 3D printers and GoPro cameras, the Rutherford County Library System offers unexpected resources. Local branches also host exciting events for all ages.
The kickoff to the Winter Reading Program within the Rutherford County Library System will be held this Saturday, January 25, 2025. Patrons of all ages will be able to shake a leg at the Linbebaugh Library in Murfreesboro, thanks to a special guest… That was Cassandra Taylor, who recently took over the reins of manager at the Smyrna Library Branch...
Technology and Outreach Coordinator Trey Gwinn told WGNS that another exciting guest will make an appearance next Saturday, February 1, 2025… Bluey, the lovable oversized dog will be in the children’s section on the 1st of February between 12 Noon and 3PM.
The library system's versatility has grown, with the Tech Center offering various services, including printing and a "library of “Things”… Unusual but helpful finds await at the Technology Engagement Center (306 Minerva Drive in Murfreesboro).
Additionally, all Rutherford County library branches provide free notary services… For special documents and more, library members can take advantage of the notary services provided daily at all branches.
