Murfreesboro, TN - We've all heard variations of this thought, parents are leaving the hospital with their newborn. There's a puzzled look on their face with a caption: "Where's the INSTRUCTION MANUAL"?
Your Instruction Manual
Murfreesboro City Schools proudly announces the launch of Parent University – a unique series of learning experiences designed to equip parents with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to actively participate in their child's education.
Parent University will offer a variety of workshops and interactive sessions led by expert educators, business leaders, and child development specialists. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, from understanding curriculum changes and digital learning tools to fostering emotional intelligence and managing stress.
Each workshop is tailored to meet the needs of families, ensuring that parents walk away with actionable strategies to boost their child's learning experience.
"Parents are their child's first and most important teachers,” says Dr. Trey Duke, Director of Schools. “Parent University is one way to help empower parents with the skills needed to guide their children towards academic success.”
