WGNS has more details on the multi-vehicle accident that took place on Thursday at around noon. The wreck unfolded near the intersection of NW Broad Street and West Main Street.
Murfreesboro Police officers responded to scene of the crash for reports of a head-on collision that involved a BMW and a Nissan Rogue, according to MPD Public Information Officer Larry Flowers.
We have confirmed that a total of four people, two in each vehicle, were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
The preliminary investigation shows the driver of the BMW was attempting to make a left turn onto Main Street and collided with the Nissan Rogue head-on. Both motorists had a yellow light. Flowers said, “Charges of failure to yield may be pending against the driver of the BMW.”
