Prices in Tennessee are 10.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 40.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 2.3 cents in the last week and stands at $3.76 per gallon.
According to AAA, the Auto Club, the average price for regular unleaded fuel on Monday in Rutherford County stands at $3.11 per gallon. Neighboring Williamson County, which is to the west of us, has the highest priced gas in Tennessee at $3.43 per gallon for regular unleaded. In our immediate area, Cannon County has the lowest priced fuel at $3.06 per gallon. Nearby Music City has fuel priced at $3.18 per gallon, while Wilson and Sumner Counties have gas priced at $3.10 per gallon.
