RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN - The state office of the National Federation of Independent Business said today that Senator Dawn White achieved a 100% NFIB voting record in the 2023-2024 session of the General Assembly.
“Tennessee is a pro-small business state because legislators like Senator White are voting for policies that positively impact our business environment,” NFIB State Director Jim Brown said. “Senator White understands the challenges many of our small business members are facing, including persistent inflation and an extremely tight labor market.”
“As a former small business owner, I know the impact state policy can have on your business, as a whole. I am proud to support business friendly legislation, which will help to ensure businesses can thrive in Tennessee. Small businesses are the foundation of our economy, and, as a legislator, I will continue to fight for their growth, protection, and success,” said Senator Dawn White.
Brown said the NFIB Voting Record does not reflect every element considered by a lawmaker when voting, nor does it represent a complete profile of a legislator. The 2023-2024 Voting Record includes 10 key votes in both chambers of the legislature on issues important to small businesses including tax, labor, and tort reforms. It does not factor in that many of these legislators were very helpful to small business in committees.
