MPD Seeks Person of Interest in Vehicle Theft Case

MURFREESBORO, TN - Murfreesboro detectives are actively seeking a person of interest in connection with a vehicle theft that occurred on May 24. The incident took place at a residence on Greenland Drive, where the victim discovered that her car had been rummaged through and her wallet was missing.

On the same day, an unknown man, believed to be the person of interest, was captured on video in a Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) parking lot. Further complicating the case, MTSU police discovered that the door to a room in the Fairview Building had been vandalized with a rock. MTSU police are currently investigating the vandalism incident.
