Remembering Clifton: Sobriety Checkpoint Commemorates 10-Year Anniversary of Boy Scout's Tragic Passing

Smyrna, TN - Ten years after the tragic death of Boy Scout Clifton Braunwalder, who was killed by a driver under the influence of drugs, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, in collaboration with the Rutherford County Traffic Safety Task Force, is honoring his memory with a sobriety checkpoint.

The checkpoint will be held on Friday, April 12, from 10 p.m. to midnight on Sam Ridley Parkway.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving and to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
