When the dogwoods begin to bloom and the birds begin to sing it means one thing for sure…the beginning of another Spring meet at Keeneland.

Since 1936, Thoroughbred racing has been conducted at this oval located near Lexington, Kentucky. Nestled in the heart of horse country, Keeneland has played host to some of the game’s greatest athletes both on-track and through the sales pavilion. Truly an iconic center for the sport of kings, this place is magical to say the least. Described by some as a “gentleman’s track”, the past, present, and future offers much to behold.

The 2024 Spring meet kicks off April 5 and racing will be conducted on a Wednesday to Sunday basis until April 26. During these sixteen wonderful days of racing nineteen Stakes races will be run highlighted by the 100th renewal of the Bluegrass Stakes on April 6, a major prep for the Kentucky Derby.

First post on all days will be 1pm except for closing day, April 26 which offers a 12:30pm start. All tickets for the 2024 Spring meet must be purchased on line at tickest.Keeneland.com/racing.
