"Burned Skeletal Remains, Just Under Soil"--6PM Tue. Talk at Greenhouse

Mar 28, 2024 at 02:42 pm by WGNS

Murfreesboro, TN - Greenhouse Ministries is offering a series of classes that shares the knowledge of local residents. Forensic Anthropologist Hugh Berryman begins the 2024 series at 6:00PM this coming Tuesday evening (4/2/2024) at Greenhouse Ministries (307 S. Academy St., Murfreesboro).

The week's free lecture focuses on the burned skeletal remains found just under the earth’s surface. Clues are in plain sight. At least if you are trained to look for them. Dr. Berryman's area of expertise is in blunt force trauma, skeletal remains, and osteology. He will walk you through the investigative process during this Tuesday evening’s free talk at Greenhouse Ministries.

Middle Tennessee State University’s Professor Emeritus personally researched long ago deaths from mummified victims in an ancient Egyptian tomb to murders across the Volunteer State.

Dr. Berryman is one of only a hand-full of persons considered to be in the top ranks of being a Forensic Anthropologist. In fact, there are only about 120 to 140+ in the world, and two are Murfreesboro residents.

He loves Murfreesboro and decided to stay when he retired from MTSU in December, 2021.

Space is limited for this coming Tuesday evening’s free lecture at Greenhouse Ministries. Please RSVP quickly to Connie Huddleston and reserve your seat. Phone 615-494-0499 (extension 131) quickly.
