Murfreesboro, TN – In August of 2020, Carmen De la Cruz, a 28-year-old resident of Murfreesboro, was arrested and accused of fatally stabbing his uncle, Gregorio Zetino. The incident transpired following a heated argument between the two at a residence in the 1800 block of Fowler Street, as detailed by Murfreesboro Police.
According to reports, the argument escalated, leading to a tragic outcome with the loss of Mr. Zetino's life. First responders rushed to the scene on Fowler Street, where they made valiant efforts to save the victim. After administering medical aid at the scene, the victim was transported to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. The MPD later confirmed that Mr. Zetino, who was in his early forties, was pronounced dead shortly after the unfortunate event.
