In a culmination of months-long investigative efforts, Metro Nashville Special Victims Unit detectives arrested Colin T. Rowe of Franklin on Tuesday. The 36-year-old was apprehended in Williamson County on four outstanding warrants related to the unlawful dissemination of images. The charges stem from Rowe's alleged secret recording of a female acquaintance, leading to the unauthorized dissemination of intimate photographs and videos.

The victim made a disturbing discovery in September when she stumbled upon nude photographs and videos of herself on Rowe's laptop. These images were allegedly captured without her consent, utilizing a hidden camera. Moreover, Rowe stands accused of further exacerbating the violation of privacy by allegedly sharing these images and videos with others via various social media platforms.

Rowe was apprehended shortly before midnight on Tuesday, with assistance from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. Following his arrest, Rowe was released during the early morning hours of Wednesday. He now faces serious charges, including one count of felony distribution of unlawful photographs and three counts of misdemeanor unlawful photography.

Prior to securing his release on bond, Rowe was held in custody under a bail amount totaling $9,500. For now, the investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with additional information relevant to the case to come forward. As the legal proceedings unfold, the community awaits further developments in this distressing case of privacy infringement and unlawful conduct.
