RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN – The Tennessee Department of Corrections Second Chance Fair is taking place on Thursday at the Murfreesboro Day Reporting Center. The event is geared towards individuals with criminal backgrounds who are in need of a job or other resources. Some of the needs include education assistance, housing, food, help paying child support, just to name a few.
At the event, there will be multiple second chance employers and resource organizations on site. Some of the employers that will be set-up on Thursday include Slim & Huskys, New Home In – Home Living Care, Tyson, Goodwill and Lyneer Staffing. Resource providers include the Salvation Army, Motlow State Community College and others.
The Murfreesboro Day Reporting Center is at 640 Broadmor Boulevard.
