SMYRNA, TN - In Smyrna, the Police Department is encouraging the public to help them identify two individuals who are accused of a felony theft at Academy Sports. At the sporting goods store, a man and a women entered the store on foot, but left on bike. Sports Academy is on Genie Lane, which runs parallel with Sam Ridley Parkway. The store is just a few addresses before Lowe's.
Detectives said the theft or thefts, were valued at a high enough dollar amount to be considered a felony and the individuals captured on a security camera in the store are suspected of being tied to that theft.

Unrelated Walmart Theft - In an unrelated theft case that also unfolded in Smyrna, police are trying to located a man who was allegedly involved in a theft from Walmart (Photo Above Left - Purple Shirt).
