VA 2K Walk and Roll is This Wednesday from 11AM to 1PM

MURFREESBORO, TN - Participate in the 13th Annual VA 2K this Wednesday (May 17, 2023) and Help Homeless Veterans. The VA 2K Walk and Roll event will take place from 11 AM to 1 PM in Murfreesboro. 

The event will help to raise awareness and donations for homeless Veterans. The event is open to the public, so bring your friends to help raise awareness for homeless Veterans and to further help local Veterans.

In Murfreesboro, the family event will be on the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center Campus. Participants can sign up in the quad pavilion area. Walk or roll five laps around the quad to make 1.2 miles. There will be live music and a dunk tank for a chance to dunk an executive leader! Donations will be collected underneath the pavilion.

Organizers of the VA 2K are accepting new, unused clothing items such as socks, shirts, undergarments, etc. They also accept non-perishable foods and hygiene products like toilet paper, shampoo, razors and more. All donations are collected by the Center for Development and Civic Engagement team (formerly Voluntary Service).
