Attend a Child Abuse Prevention Month Event - The Hometown Heroes Walk for Children will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, located at 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro. Complimentary shuttles will run from Oakland’s Park to the event kick-off from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Registration will start at 10:30 a.m., opening ceremony at 11:30 a.m., and the walk will begin at 12:00 noon. This FREE event will conclude with a boxed picnic lunch at the Oaklands Park pavilion. The park is located at 427 Roberts Street, Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
