(MURFREESBORO) Do you recognize this woman? Surveillance video shows that she was in Truist Bank on East Main Street at 1:14PM Friday, Dec. 30, 2022.
A teller at the local bank told police that the woman told the teller that she in town for a funeral and needed to withdraw $10,000 from her account to pay for the casket. She provided identification, had the right social security number and the transaction was approved.
However, the New Year brought a notice from the victim's bank in Georgia letting her know that there had been a $10,000 withdrawal 3-days earlier.
Murfreesboro Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the woman in Truist Bank on East Main.
