(Murfreesboro, TN) A burglary that occurred late last year remains under investigation. Evidently, the crime took place just 9-days before Christmas at a location few would think would ever be a target for burglary… a preschool for children.

Police report the break-in happened on December 16, 2022 at Stepping Stone Academy on Kensington Square Court. Once the thief made his way inside, he allegedly stole an iPad, a gift card, and several food items. The burglar is believed to have entered through a back door and was inside the building for about an hour and a half.

The suspects photo was captured multiple times, because of his length of stay inside the building. Detectives are trying to determine who the bandit is and if he lives near the preschool. Police ask, “If you know this person of interest, please contact Det. Christopher Paté at 629-201-5616.”
