No Trash November

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is urging the state's residents to help with cleanup across the Volunteer State.

The department reports that so far, over eight tons of trash has been cleaned up along the state's roadways through their "No Trash November" initiative.

All volunteer groups who regularly pick up litter on Tennessee roadways will rally together and host a cleanup event in November — cleaning up Tennessee right before our friends and families visit for the holidays.

Not a part of a cleanup group but want to contribute to a litter-free Tennessee?

Here are 5 ways to get involved.
