Murfreesboro – The volunteer board of directors of the Rutherford County American Heart Association previoously announced the date of the Rutherford Heart Ball has changed. The ball was scheduled to take place at The Grove at Williamson Family Farm this coming Saturday on March 5, 2022. However, site delays required a change of date. New event details have not yet been announced.

“We know everyone is looking forward to reconvening in person for the Rutherford Heart Ball,” states local  American Heart Association board chair, John Dietrich. “We are very sorry for any confusion this necessary change may have caused. We are working diligently on a new date and hope to be together soon for a successful event that celebrates the mission of the American Heart Association.”

“Every option was thoroughly considered before this decision was made. We will have an update for the future of this event soon,” said Annie Thornhill, American Heart Association executive director. “We are so grateful to the event chairs, Nikkole and Jimmy Aho and Carrie Beth and Kirk Catron, for the passion and commitment that they have poured into the planning for this event that builds on decades of hard work.”

Relentlessly focused on the heart of the Rutherford community, the Rutherford Heart Ball is a celebration of life and a night dedicated to the important mission of the American Heart Association. Through the Heart of Rutherford and Heart Ball campaign, our collective success in driving change, funding science and improving behaviors will be celebrated– no matter where, when or how, we gather.
