Exchange Club Provides Stuffed Animals to Emergency Agencies

Two hundred small stuff animals from Kohls Cares were recently donated by the Exchange Club of Murfreesboro to the Rutherford County Sheriff Office, Rutherford County Fire Rescue Department, Rutherford County EMS, City of Murfreesboro Police Department, and City of Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. The stuffed animals will be used when necessary should a child ( and sometimes adults ) require comforting during a traumatic situation, hopefully calming the child in an anxious / nervous status.

This is part of the civic minded organizations’ Community Service Program. Other Exchange Club Programs of Service are Youth Activity, Americanism, and its National Project is The Prevention of Child Abuse.

For more information on The Exchange Club of Murfreesboro, follow them on Facebook, visit www.NationalExchangeClub.org or call 615-641-0121. Core Values are: Family, Community, Country. The Club’s vision is: A strong America, safe communities, and unified people.
