The community is invited to attend an evening of mental health awareness.

This event will consist of the premier documentary film, “The Pink Canopy," from writer/producer Bobbye Wagner.

The Good Neighbor Station was informed that the film will be eye opening and will reveal the life on an educator who battled with mental illness. The video will allow those who attend a chance to witness a family’s journey of how the darkness of their mother’s illness affected their lives.

WGNS was told that this story will expose the stigmas that are associated with mental illness and provide expert insight on mental health.

This event will be located at The Elevation Center in Murfreesboro (1630 S. Church Street in suite 104 / Murfreesboro, TN 37130). The date of the event is this Saturday, October 23 , 2021 from 12 noon to 3pm.
