MTCS Names Girls Basketball Coach

Middle Tennessee Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Hannah Jones as our new headgirls basketball coach. Coach Jones joins the Cougars after serving as an assistant coach for the Lipscomb University women’s basketball team since 2017. Previously she served as head coach of the girls basketball team at Grace Christian Academy in Franklin from 2015-2017 and led the program’s transitioninto the TSSAA. Jones also served as an assistant coach at Brentwood Academy from 2013-2015 helping guide the team to back-to-back state championships.

Athletic Director Jason Piercey states, “We are blessed to have Hannah and her husband Adam joining ourCougar family. The experience Coach Jones brings from coaching the collegiate game will not only pushour team to continued success but will also prepare many of our current and future players to achieve theirgoals of playing at the next level.”

Coach Jones is a graduate of Lipscomb University where she was a standout player for the Lady Bison from 2009-2013 and a member of the 1,000 point club. She earned her Masters in Management in 2016. After graduation Jones played a season of professional basketball in Australia earning league MVP honors.

Coach Hannah Jones states, “I'm extremely excited and grateful to be a part of the MTCS family. Fromspiritual life to academics to athletics, the MTCS leadership demonstrated a passion for doing things the right way and investing in their students' hearts. It's more than basketball, it's bigger than X's & O's and MTCS gets that. Can't wait to get to work!”
