Middle Tennessee Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Aaron Morrison as our new head boys basketball coach. Coach Morrison joins the Cougars after serving as an assistant coach for Grace Christian Academy in Franklin since 2018. After graduating from Lipscomb University in 2013, Coach Morrison spent time as a graduate assistant coach with the men’s basketball team at Lipscomb University from 2015-2016. He also serves as a head coach for the 17U Premier Team for the Stars Basketball Club.

Off the court, Aaron and his wife Somer are actively involved members of the Church of Christ in Green Hills where they lead the Inner City Ministry program and serve as coaches for the youth group. Athletic Director Jason Piercey states, “We are thrilled to have Coach Morrison join the Cougars. His knowledge of the game and passion for mentoring young men made him an ideal leader for our program.”

Coach Morrison states, “I couldn’t be more excited for my family and I to join the MTCS community and lead the boys basketball program. From the moment I met the administration at MTCS and spoke to others in the community, I knew that this was the place I wanted to be. Go Cougars!”

Secondary Principal Dr. Robert Sain states, “Coach Morrison is ready for this opportunity. His energy, experience, plan for success, and passion for developing skilled players that honor God will make him a wonderful addition to our community!.”
