The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office reports that there will be driver checkpoints set up on Friday.
The Sheriff's Office said in a release, "Drivers will be reminded to save lives by obeying traffic laws during awareness checkpoints Friday by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office."
Checkpoints will be at the following high traffic areas:
- 7 p.m. to 8 pm., West Jefferson Pike near Interstate 840.
- 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Northwest Broad Street near Interstate 840.
- 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., Rutherford Boulevard near Main Street.
