Encouragement month continues with Barnabas Vision in Murfreesboro.
As many understand, November and December proved how generous Rutherford County is in helping others, encouraging those who are feeling down and helping to make ends meet during Christmas. But now that the holiday's have passed, there are still thousands of residents who feel as if they are at the end of their rope.
Non-profit Barnabas Vision is in the midst of their newly focused effort during the month of February. David Coggin who started Barnabas Vision, said from February 1st through the 7th, they will focused their attention on helping the elderly in our area. On the 7th through the 14th, attention was geared towards our homeless population by handing out encouragement bags.
Now through the 20th of February, they are focusing attention on area health care workers. Next week on the 22nd through the 28th, volunteers and staff at Barnabas Vision will show their appreciation to local law enforcement officers.
Rutherford Countians are asked to be a part of the activities and to participate by serving those who need a word of encouragement, a helping hand or maybe just a smiling face.
